Wesley Fryer is a digital learning consultant, author, digital storyteller, educator and change agent. Wesley is the executive director of the nonprofit Story Chasers Inc., and the lead partner a number of digital storytelling projects. His blog, "Moving at the Speed of Creativity" (www.speedofcreativity.org) was selected as the 2006 "Best Learning Theory Blog" by eSchoolnews and Discovery Education. He teaches technology integration courses for pre-service teachers, and became a Google Certified Teacher in 2009. Wes was named an Apple Distinguished Educator in 2005, is a 1992 graduate of the US Air Force Academy, and a Fulbright Scholar. Scott McLeod, J.D., Ph.D., currently is serving as the Director of Innovation for Prairie Lakes Area Education Agency in Iowa while on leave from his position as an Associate Professor of Educational Leadership at the University of Kentucky. Dr. McLeod also is the Founding Director of the UCEA Center for the Advanced Study of Technology Leadership in Education (CASTLE), and was a co-creator of the wildly popular video series, Did You Know? (Shift Happens). He has received numerous national awards for his technology leadership work. Dr. McLeod blogs regularly about technology leadership issues at Dangerously Irrelevant. He also just completed his first book, What School Leaders Need to Know About Digital Technologies and Social Media.

Pam Allyn is the Executive Director of LitLife, the renowned organization working to promote literacy achievement through teacher excellence. Pam is the founder of LitWorld, an international organization sponsoring global literacy as a human right. She is the author of many acclaimed books for educators and families, including the award winning What to Read When; Pam Allyn's Best Books for Boys; and Your Child's Writing Life. Lisa Thumann is a former K-6 technology teacher who now works with innovative learning technologies at the School for Global Education & Innovation at Kean University in New Jersey. Lisa assists educators and students in integrating mobile devices, developing personal learning communities and implementing Google Apps. She has presented at nine of the Google Teacher Academies and is a Google Apps for Education Certified Trainer. Tony Vincent's interest in using technology for learning started while he was teaching fifth grade in Nebraska fifteen years ago, where he created one of the first classroom websites dedicated to providing opportunities for students to publish their work online. Tony has been a Technology Specialist, integrating technology for students and teachers in grades kindergarten through five, and developed the very first podcast from an American elementary school. Tony is now an independent consultant and has worked in 37 states and on three continents. Hall Davidson began teaching in 1971. He taught middle and high school English, mathematics, Spanish, and bilingual mathematics. Davidson has been on two college faculties teaching technology for teacher credential candidates. He left the classroom to teach math on television in Los Angeles on an Emmy-winning program and spent 20 years at Los Angeles area PBS stations teaching, leading staff development, championing content creation by students and teachers, and ultimately producing television series on education, technology, parenting, and theater. Hall Davidson joined Discovery Education in 2005 where he blogs, creates webinars, works in educational partnerships and serves as director of Global Learning Initiatives. Diana Laufenberg has taught all grade levels from 7-12 in Social Studies over the past 15 years. She most recently taught at the Science Leadership Academy in Philadelphia, an inquiry-driven, project-based high school. Prior to her work in Philadelphia, she was an active member of the teaching community in Flagstaff, AZ where she was named Technology Teacher of the Year for Arizona and a member of the Governor's Master Teacher Corps. Diana was featured on TED.com for her “How to Learn? From Mistakes” and recognized for earning National Board Certification. She blogs at Living the Dream. Jon Bergmann is considered one of the pioneers in the Flipped Class Movement. He co-wrote the book, Flip Your Classroom: Reach Every Student in Every Class Every Day. Jon has taught high school science for twenty-four years. He received the Presidential Award for Excellence for Math and Science Teaching in 2002 and was named Semi-Finalist for Colorado Teacher of the Year in 2010. He is the founder of the Flipped Learning Network, a nonprofit organization which supports teachers in implementing flipped learning. He serves on the advisory board of TED Education. He is currently the Lead Technology Facilitator for the Joseph Sears School in Kenilworth, Illinois. He is the father of three teenagers and is happily married to the love of his life. |

Jennie Magiera is the Digital Learning Coordinator for the Academy for Urban School Leadership (a network of 25 Chicago Public Schools), and previously taught math to 4th and 5th graders. As an Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Teacher and Chicago Public School's Tech Innovator of the Year, Jennie has been working to redefine education through effective technology use. Since 2010, she has been exploring how leverage 1:1 iPads to increase student metacongition, self-efficacy and creativity - and now has increased that focus to include Chromebooks and other mobile devices.
