ICE 2013 Friday Keynote - Pam Allyn

Pam Allyn, who will present the Friday Keynote at ICE 2013, is a prolific author who strongly believes that reading and writing are human rights that belong to all people. Her personal quest to bring literacy to every child has led her to establish a number of literacy programs and websites, including LitWorld and LitLife.   She is also the 2012 Global Ambassador for Scholastic's Read Every Day, Lead a Better Life Campaign.

Pam invites all ICE Members to join LitWorld's Stand Up for Girls event to promote literacy for girls around the world on October 11 - this Thursday.  While time is short, you can read about the event and it only takes a few minutes to download the Stand Up for Girls sign, take your photo holding up the sign and post it to the LitWorld Facebook page.  Take some time to visit Pam's websites and learn how you can support her work to improve literacy for people around the world.

You can follow Pam and Litworld's literacy efforts on Twitter @litworldsays and on facebook/litworld.
